Maven Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team. The Financial Controller will be primarily responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company’s growth and success. The ideal candidate aligns with our values of Safety, Wellbeing, Respect, Quality, Collaborate & Growth Mindset and will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and management, with the ability to review and manage various financial tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in company of $5-$15M in revenue, ideally in the consulting sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
