An opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Fusion5!
In this role, you will oversee the NZ finance function and operational efficiency of Fusion5. You will work closely with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and ensure that our resources are effectively managed to achieve our business goals.
Responsibilities:
YOU WILL OWN AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERY OF:
- Monthly Income Statement preparation including:
- Revenue review across all company pillars
- Expense review across all company pillars
- Accruals - revenue and expense
- Asset Management, acquisitions and depreciation
- MBO/Bonus accrual management
- Supplier Invoice approvals
- Involvement in company Insurance Renewals
- Lease Accounting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly workpapers
- Internal costs management and efficiency
- Continual process improvements
- Work closely with Finance Systems Accountant to optimise use of automation and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiencies
- Management and oversight of the NZ finance team including:
- Bank Account transactions and reconciliations
- Credit Card transactions and reconciliations
- AR Invoices
- AR collection and receipting
- Intercompany transactions
- Revenue recognition and amortisation
- Expense claims
- Supplier Invoice processing
- Involvement in NZ Company Acquisitions

- Proficiency in the use of NetSuite Products or a similar FMIS

- Able to deliver results within required deadlines
- Confident communicator, able to relate to internal and external clients
- High degree of integrity and discretion
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience in producing monthly reports and account reconciliations
- Experience operating in a small business / sole charge type environment
- Appropriate Accounting qualification.
