A leading, privately owned SME Group has approached Venture Recruitment Partners to support them in the recruitment of a Financial Controller on an exclusive basis. Reporting to a recently appointed CFO, the role has been newly created as a result of recent and planned business growth, both organically and via acquisition.

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring efficient cash flow management.
• Prepare detailed financial analysis, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering professional development.
