EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelor degree in Accounting and finance and either possessing a Professional accounting designation or actively working towards this designation.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
5+ years financial / costing analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong project management skills (methodical and detail oriented)
Focused and creative
Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities:
Process Improvement:
o Establish and measure procedures, business practices, and systems utilization at the operations level.
Forecasting and Reporting:
o Prepare and communicate weekly forecasts.
o Analyze COGS, scrap, rework, and journal entries on monthly basis.
o Conduct product profitability analysis on monthly basis.
Budgeting:
o Support the preparation of annual budgets at the operations level.
· Standard Costing Review:
o Collaborate with the Process Engineering department to review standard costing methodologies and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Variance Analysis:
o Perform variance analysis for inventory, COGS, PPV, and plant efficiencies on monthly basis.
Cost Behavior Analysis:
o Prepare variance analysis to flex budgets and understand cost behaviors at the plant.
Expense Analysis:
o Analyze monthly expenses.
Cost Management:
o Perform cost rolls and inventory analysis.
o Participate in inventory management from a cost and accounting perspective.
Capital Expenditure Planning:
o Prepare capital expenditure assessments and plans.
Inventory Provisioning:
o Calculate monthly provisions for slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
Program Management:
o Manage and report on the COP program.
o Chair or co-chair routine COP program team meetings.
Audit Assistance:
o Assist in external audits.
Project Leadership:
o Lead various monthly and periodic reporting projects.
Management Systems Adherence:
o Adhere to all management systems, including Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental.
Continuous Improvement:
o Participate in a minimum of one DTMS, COP, or Team Lean event annually.
