JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Financial Data Analyst - FinOps will support the FinOps team by developing detailed financial reports, enhancing forecasting models, and implementing monitoring and reporting tools for all Non-Rahona Assets. This role is critical for improving the accuracy and efficiency of financial planning and cost management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Enhance and refine financial forecasting models to improve accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the tech team to implement and optimize monitoring and reporting tools.
  • Analyze financial data to identify and/or monitor trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in analytics, preferably in a technology or cloud services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cloud cost management or FinOps.
  • Proficiency in SQL or other relational database management systems (RDBMS).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
