JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Financial Data Analyst - FinOps will support the FinOps team by developing detailed financial reports, enhancing forecasting models, and implementing monitoring and reporting tools for all Non-Rahona Assets. This role is critical for improving the accuracy and efficiency of financial planning and cost management. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed financial reports to support decision-making.
- Enhance and refine financial forecasting models to improve accuracy.
- Collaborate with the tech team to implement and optimize monitoring and reporting tools.
- Analyze financial data to identify and/or monitor trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in analytics, preferably in a technology or cloud services environment.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with financial reporting tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cloud cost management or FinOps.
- Proficiency in SQL or other relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
