THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented Finance Data Analyst based in Cape Town to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating detailed reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization. You will collaborate with finance and data teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data, drive efficiencies, and identify areas for improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive financial decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Work closely with the finance team to monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate financial data and insights to key stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support business units with ad-hoc analysis and data requests.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements using data analysis tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various financial projects and initiatives.
