Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience applying knowledge and skill of the functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and funding sources sufficient to related needs and accomplishments to anticipated or actual dollar figures.
  • Experience working independently on routine continuing assignments.
  • Experience applying knowledge of the policies, precedents, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area such as financial oversight, budget formulation, and/or budget execution.
  • Experience analyzing and evaluating changes in program plans and funding and/or budgetary relationships.

GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience applying knowledge of and skill in the functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and funding sources sufficient to related needs and accomplishments to anticipated or actual dollar figures.
  • Experience applying knowledge of the commonly used budgetary, accounting, and/or financial administration practices, procedures, regulations and policies of the organization.
  • Experience applying a practical knowledge of the mission, function, goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting sources information and applying it to specific areas of work.

EDUCATION

Successful completion of a master’s or equivalent graduate degree

Successful completion of 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master’s degree
