A leading, national business has partnered with NET Recruit, to search the market for a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead within the London area for an exciting hybrid position. With years and years of success under their belt, this nationally recognised company is growing many of its core functions across the business and as such this is an exciting time to join already successful business with big plans to expand on this growth and success in the coming years.
This role in particular will sit within the Operational function of the business, and will reporting into the Director of FP&A, whilst also managing a team of up to 3 direct reports. Specifically, the purpose of this role is to support the dedicated operations managers and senior leadership in their day-to-day operations, by providing comprehensive budgeting, forecasting and analysis to support commercial business decisions within the function.
Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
- Handling day-to-day budgeting and forecasting
- Overseeing the use of the Anaplan system
- Providing senior Operational Managers and Directors with important financial information including forecasts and budgets and taking the lead on monthly management reporting
- Identifying opportunities to automate the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensuring continuous improvement of procedures and processes is a core priority at all times
- Liaising with and managing expectations of key stakeholders, consisting of senior Operations personnel, including communicating key variances to them
- Supporting key business decisions with detailed financial information, analysis and reporting
