Description:

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager based in Madison, Indiana. The role involves reviewing financial trends, managing forecasts, and providing analytical support for special projects within the manufacutring industry. You will be integral to our team, working to enhance our financial planning and analysis function, ensuring efficient processes and reporting requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze historical financial trends and make forward-looking assumptions to forecast financial impact.
  • Manage the consolidated financial forecast, including systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Conduct monthly analysis of consolidated results and explain variances to management.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to identify needs and establish effective processes to address them.
  • Enhance the financial planning and analysis function within the team with a focus on continuous improvement and earnings growth.
  • Provide analytical support on special projects, with a specific skill set in capital planning and review.
  • Develop and implement processes and systems to meet quarterly and monthly reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the annual operating plan process and the strategic plan coordination.
  • Execute standard reporting to deliver business results.
  • Manage and provide guidance to the FP& A Sr. Analyst.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager.
  • Advanced knowledge of Accounting Software Systems.
  • Proficiency in handling Accounting Functions.
  • Experience in managing Annual Budget and Budget Processes.
  • Demonstrated ability in Capital Management.
  • Expertise in Variance Analysis and Cost Variance.
  • Solid experience in Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage a team.
