    Position Summary:
    The Financial Planning Analyst will be responsible for entering and recording purchase invoices in the system, making payments to suppliers and keeping the accounting records up to date. He/she will also prepare tax information for monthly and annual filings, analyze the related balance sheet accounts, the respective reports and ensure the accuracy and transparency of the accounting information, complying with internal controls and local regulations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Invoice registration and management: Enter all purchase invoices into the system, make payments to suppliers and calculate withholdings as appropriate.
  • Tax management: Prepare tax information for monthly and annual local taxes, review returns and coordinate with tax advisors.
  • General accounting: Manage general accounting, including reconciliations, cash management, financial reports, and account analysis.
  • Audit support: Collaborate in the preparation and management of information for audits, implementing recommendations and ensuring compliance with the respective standards.
  • Financial reporting and analysis: Support in the preparation of management reports, analysis of budget variations, and provide support in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Control and documentation: Review and classify vouchers, record provisions and depreciations, perform reconciliations, and maintain organized documentation.
  • Risk management and special projects: Manage business risk, document policies and procedures, and contribute to special projects and strategic analysis.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience in multinational companies or local companies (large and relevant locally), preferably ISO 14001 certified.
  • Must be detail-oriented, analytical and have strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Completed studies as an Accountant, Administrator or Economist.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar positions.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • PC skills with Windows and Office programs (mainly Excel and Word).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive effective implementation of procedures and policies to support business operational requirements.
