The business operates diagnostic imaging and minor injuries centres’ around the country, offering a broad range of cutting-edge imaging technology and healthcare services to the public, insurers, employers and other organisations.
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :

  • Lead the financial planning cycle, from annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly reforecast and the five year plan
  • Understand the current model used by the Company and introduce improvements or elaborate new financial model that fits the needs of the organization and that includes: (i) definition of variables, (ii) input parameter values, (iii) model specification.
  • Lead business partnering activities to key leaders across UK and Ireland, ensuring timely information and insights are provided to influence decision making
  • Lead/Participate to any meeting in relation with the long-term planning and its consequences in terms of financial impacts.
  • Provide monthly performance commentary to the Executive team with proposed actions, risks and opportunities
  • Lead monthly performance reviews with department heads
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis and what-if scenarios on the company financials and investment opportunities.
  • Input into the integration of the Company’s information systems (manual and electronic), modernizing and reducing the level of manual intervention.
  • Lead on investment appraisals of acquisitions, greenfield, brownfields, new services etc, summarizing the key points for the CFO and the wider executive team
  • Support the Controlling team on specific issues when needed.
  • Be proactive and help the Group Management Team to anticipate any future trend and its impacts in the financial statements for decision making purpose.
  • Oversee regular cash flow forecasting
  • Oversee Capex execution control in terms of planning and scope. Monitor the investment program and understand variances against budget.
  • Work with the Group Finance team on ad hoc requests for wider group projects
  • Supports the team in preparing all the reporting deliverables (revenue, EBITDA, monthly and quarterly reports and presentations)
  • Analyses and provides feedback on country submissions to the business plan and forecast
  • Reviews monthly country management accounts submissions and in particular the variance analysis and liaise with countries where items are not clear
  • Comfortable analysing and negotiating new supplier and customer pricing contracts, supporting the Procurement team
  • Prepares & distributes monthly CEO reports templates
  • Writes commentary and prepares various materials for inclusion in the monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc consolidated board results packages
  • Ensures support to the whole Group FP&A team in excel models’ analysis and cooperating strongly with MIS team for proper reporting
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Executive team
  • Coaches and supports team members to create challenging objectives and opportunities for their development.
  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent finance qualification
  • Experience working in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Modelling experience: ability to build complex Excel models, maintain and run financial scenarios, analyse and evaluate the outputs; understanding drivers and connections of the 3 statements
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and tax knowledge
  • Knowledge of using SAP and SAGE preferable
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Understanding of IFRS and local GAAP
  • Excellent analytical, business knowledge and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferable
  • Strong stakeholder management, especially with senior and executive levels
