Job Description

Primary Purpose

  • Leadership in studying, planning, organising and executing studies on key commercial projects. Results to have an impact of >$2m annually to EMEA Op Profit, and impacts to Revenue, RoS and RoTCE.
  • Project leadership of multi-functional teams.
  • Negotiation with 3rd parties on valuations, project activity through to terms and contractual agreements.
  • Support decision making of MD EMEA and VP Finance EMEA.
  • Participate in global projects.
  • Expert/Specialist to take on leading and execution of complex business opportunities requiring a high degree of sophistication and linking financial and non-financial data to outline issues and opportunities.
  • Presentation of issues, concepts and recommendations to MD EMEA, Senior Global Management, VP Finance and other VPs and Director level roles across EMEA

Key Accountabilities

  • Define, prepare and complete projects /business studies, including the combination of Financial and non-Financial Data. Including - internal operational restructuring activities, and as a team member on global strategic projects.
  • Lead in presentation of recommendations and alternative options to senior management - up to MD EMEA and VP level in the US.
  • Set up and track key cross functional metrics and act independently to identify opportunities and risk in projects.
  • Leadership in completion of team projects and tasks.
  • Creation of high value operating and financial impact solutions and recommendations with review and internal sale of these plans to the MD EMEA, or VP level roles within EMEA or the US.
  • Conflict management and resolution - Challenge conventions and operations, but develop equal skills in resolution of differences and disputed plans.
  • Subject Matter expert and consultant to broader EMEA business community

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Accounting qualification, and university degree
  • Min 15 years PQE experience in Industry (with multiple roles) or as a Management Consultant
  • Business Acumen
