Description:
About the role:
State Street’s Risk Analytics platform is a web based application providing a full suite of analytics, which give clients insight into the risks and performance of their investment portfolios. Supporting all asset classes, the platform computes analytics such as: stress testing, value at risk (VaR), position specific analytics for derivatives (delta, gamma, vega etc.) and fixed income characteristics such as duration and convexity. The reporting offering also includes Liquidity and ESG indicators.
Role:
Reporting to the Vice President of Risk Solutions you will be part of the team working closely with clients on their liquidity risk reporting and analysis requirements. You will collaborate with the financial engineering teams and technical support teams in helping to enhance our market and liquidity risk product offerings. Working closely with clients service, operation team and agile team requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills and as we have a diverse and international client base. With some oversight and supervision, the incumbent is responsible for the duties listed in the next section.
Work model: hybrid work model: minimum 2 days of office work per week on average (during onboarding fully in office)
Working hours: 10 AM - 6 PM
Location: Kraków (Centrum Biurowe Kazimierz) or Gdańsk (Titanium Tower Alchemia)
Your new role
As a Financial Regulatory Product Manager you will:
- Advise Clients Services and Market Data teams on complex issues surrounding our market and liquidity risk solutions
- Incorporate advanced market and liquidity risk and financial functionality into our current capabilities
- Provide financial specifications and developed prototypes for the design of new analytics functionality
- Perform research on developing models and analytics
- Identify the data requirements for these solutions and work closely with our data team to determine sources / mappings for these data

What we value
Specific skills and qualifications:
- Strong mathematical and quantitative skills as evidenced by an advanced degree in Finance, Financial Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent
- Proficient programming skills in Python and R required. Experience in SQL is a must have
- Data manipulation skills is highly desirable and knowledge in fixed income trading is beneficial
- Familiarity with analyzing and interpreting regulatory risk requirements (UCITS, AIFMD, Sol II, SEC, Basel…) an asset
- 3 to 7 years experience with risk measurement/management
- Professional accreditations (e.g. FRM,PRM, CFA) would be an asset
- Hands on experience developing financial models
- Must be familiar with financial products and data
- Experience in a client-facing role and good interpersonal skills an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
