Join the global finance team at Materialise — the only Belgian tech company listed on NASDAQ — and play a key role in shaping the financial landscape at our global headquarters. In this position, you play a vital role in the implementation of our new reporting and budget tool and manage the financial reporting process from a system perspective.
What you will do

In your day-to-day job as a financial reporting specialist, you

• Manage the reporting landscape within finance
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to support the corporate finance team
• Make the bridge between finance and IT
• Stay updated on technology advancements and further process improvements in financial reporting
• Report to the group controller

During the implementation of the new budget and reporting tool (CPM), you’ll

• Lead the implementation of the selected tool for the reporting and budgeting process in close collaboration with stakeholders within corporate finance and IT and with the support of an external implementation partner
• Become the key contact within finance for the new tool by building in-house expertise on its functionality
• Provide training and support to end-users throughout our global organization

Your profile

• The ideal candidate will have a background in financial reporting and analysis, coupled with knowledge of finance systems; hands-on experience with the implementation of a CPM tool is an asset
• You hold a degree in a finance-related field and have at least 3 years of experience within an international company
• You have database experience and Power BI knowledge
• You have strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• You are detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to think outside the box
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse internal and external stakeholders
