We are looking for a strong people leader who can bring a high degree of passion to streamlining our processes. You will have a diverse range of financial reporting experience in complex businesses with the ability to embrace change and bring the team along for the journey. You will also have;

  • Tertiary Qualification.
  • Recognised member of ICAA or CPA.
  • Proven people leadership experience in dynamic and large scale corporate environments
  • Experience in process optimisation, project management and business planning.
  • Experience across multiple business units and navigating different complex financial problems
  • Strong computer skills with a sound knowledge of business databases and MS excel
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and their application.

Responsibilities:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Crown Melbourne team. This is a key leadership position within our finance team that will own and deliver accurate financial reporting. This is a people focused role responsible for motivating and developing a team of accountants. Tasked with adopting a Continuous Improvement mindset and improving process along the way. You will also be responsible for;

  • Leading the end to end financial reporting process. This includes month end, Cash flow preparation and balance sheet reconciliations, weekly reporting and ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial information at a property level in accordance with Group and property policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating and delivering aspects of the Group’s statutory financial statements and disclosures as required.
  • Coordinating and assisting with all reporting requirements as required by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC).
  • Partnering with Property and Group FP&A to coordinate aspects of the budgeting and forecasting of statutory P&L items, Balance Sheet and Cash flow for the Property.
  • Undertake and lead ad hoc projects, analysis, audits and reporting as required.
