Your Tasks

  • You thrive when working on challenging line and project topics at the intersection of risk management and the latest regulatory requirements, getting involved hands-on while thinking strategically, innovatively, and with an international perspective.
  • In the same vein, you actively participate in the execution and development of analyses, reports, and forecasts, always keeping a focus on the normative perspective.
  • By doing so, you help us manage and coordinate the Bank’s Credit Risk Appetite, including reporting to the Risk Committee and working closely with our management board.
  • You delve deep into IFRS9, Basel 4/CRR3, and other risk management topics – be it risk-bearing capacity, stress testing, or risk inventory – and provide valuable support in comprehensively addressing new regulatory requirements (MaRisk, CRR/CRD, Basel).
  • You are engaged at every stage, from concept development to implementation, and communicate results clearly and effectively.
  • Lastly, we rely on your expertise to accompany the supervisory activities of the ECB and national authorities from the Bank’s perspective.

Your Profile

  • Quantitative studies, preferably in econometrics, mathematics, physics, computer science, economics
  • Experience in the lending business (individuals, legal entities), credit processes and loan life cycles
  • Several years of experience in working with credit risk reports, provisions (IFRS9), PD, LDG, EAD
  • Expertise in SQL, basic knowledge of programming in SAS, Python and R is an advantage
  • Adept at interpreting data based on the information and assumptions gathered
  • Skilled in handling project tasks independently (also by steering subtasks with the team)
  • Independent, creative and proactive mindset
  • Meticulous, solution-orientated and precise way of working
  • Team-oriented, proactive and structured
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Proficient in German and English, verbal and written
