Job Title: Financial Strategist

Job Summary: Design and implement long-term financial strategies to drive company growth and align with business objectives. Provide high-level financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making and strategic planning.
SKILLSET:
- Strategic Financial Planning: Expertise in developing and implementing financial strategies to support long-term business goals.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable insights.
- Financial Modeling: Proficiency in creating and interpreting financial models and forecasts.
- Communication: Excellent skills in presenting financial data and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of financial analysis software and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: CPA or CA designation, or a preferred MBA with a major in Finance or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience: Proven experience of 5+ years as a Business/Financial Analyst and Strategist, preferably in the greenhouse industry, with a track record of supporting strategic decision-making and managing investor relationships. Working knowledge of ERP software like SAP.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial forecasting, corporate finance, risk management, and current financial trends.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy Development:
- Create and oversee the implementation of the company’s long-term financial strategy.
- Align financial strategy with the company’s growth objectives and overall business goals.
- Financial Analysis and Modeling:
- Conduct detailed financial modeling to forecast performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and assess profitability.
- Analyze key performance metrics and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Investment and Capital Allocation:
- Lead investment appraisals and capital allocation decisions to optimize financial returns and resource utilization.
- Develop and review investment proposals and make recommendations to senior management.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and other key financial partners.
- Communicate financial strategies and performance to stakeholders effectively.
- Performance Reporting:
- Develop and oversee profitability reports, KPIs, and other performance metrics.
- Ensure that financial reports are accurate, timely, and align with strategic goals.
- Strategic Decision Support:
- Provide comprehensive financial insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
- Offer recommendations for improving financial performance and achieving strategic objectives.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Implement risk management frameworks and tools to ensure financial stability.
- Process Improvement:
- Drive process improvement initiatives that impact financial strategy and performance.
- Develop policies and procedures to enhance financial operations and reporting.
