Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for providing strategic financial management and budgetary analysis to support organizational objectives. This role involves advising on budget preparation, analyzing financial data, and developing financial guidelines and policies. The Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to coordinate financial activities, manage multiple funding types, and ensure financial compliance and alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial management expertise, and experience with the Navy Working Capital Fund business model. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who is adept at navigating complex financial environments and making strategic recommendations to enhance organizational financial health. Three (3) years of experience providing financial management support to a program/project and/or corporate operations department

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in financial systems analysis, accounting, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with SQL, VBA, or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must POSSESS and be able to maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing financial services to DoD customers.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Finance or Information Systems).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, or similar).
  • Experience in system implementation or migration projects.
