Description:
As a Financial Systems Analyst in our IT department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our financial systems. This position requires a deep dive into finance, accounts payable, payroll, and specifically patient accounting systems to ensure financial activities are executed efficiently and align with our organizational goals. Your expertise will bridge the gap between financial operations and technology, ensuring a synergy that supports our hospital’s financial health and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis, optimization, and management of financial systems with a significant focus on patient accounting to streamline revenue cycle processes, enhance billing accuracy, and improve patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the finance department, accounts payable, payroll, and patient accounting teams to understand their technological needs, aiming to optimize financial and patient accounting systems.
- Implement, upgrade, and maintain financial and patient accounting systems in accordance with organizational needs and regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate the training of end-users, focusing on enhancing their proficiency with financial and patient accounting systems to ensure optimal usage.
- Develop comprehensive documentation related to financial system configurations, operational procedures, and user guides, with an emphasis on patient accounting practices.
- Engage in the financial planning and budgeting processes, leveraging data from patient accounting systems for accurate forecasting and decision support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within financial systems in collaboration with IT support teams and external vendors.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in healthcare financial systems, with a keen interest in innovations in patient accounting, to recommend and implement strategic improvements.
Experience with SQL, financial applications, spreadsheets and statistics required.

Schedule: Full Time, Days, Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 P
