Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Financial Systems & Projects Lead, to manage iTrent, our Payroll & HR system, on a temporary 18-month contract.
You will be responsible for leading on complex development, systems design, testing and implementation of routine upgrades and manage the regular day to day operation of the systems. You will support the HR/Payroll Operations team, wider HR & OD services, liaise with software suppliers and other key partners in the council. Ensuring key business processes and statutory requirements are managed and developed effectively.
Reporting to the Financial Systems Operations Manager, you will manage 1 member of staff and will be required to manage and allocate workload, ensuring agreed SLA’s are adhered to and effective customer service is delivered to employees. Your position is part of the Financial Systems team who support a range of financial applications across the council and will work collaboratively with your colleagues to provide a first-class service to ensure continuous improvement in the council’s service delivery.
