Description:

As a financing analyst, you contribute to the analysis, supervision, and prevention of operations and activities related to risk management. Your role involves conducting financial analysis of medium-complexity client files and making recommendations. You act as a resource person for financing files. You work closely with colleagues and partners involved in financing files. Your enthusiasm for the real estate field and your ability to manage complexity are put to good use. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Identify, capture, analyze, and interpret the necessary information and data to support management decision-making processes and control processes in credit risk management. Make appropriate recommendations.
  • Analyze risks. Write various reports and recommendations. Provide advisory support in the implementation of these recommendations.
  • Participate in the preparation and proposal of action plans likely to promote the correction of encountered situations, in accordance with generally recognized guidelines and rules.
  • Develop and write work methods and processes.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge in financial analysis
  • Knowledge of the main products and services intended for businesses and those offered by Desjardins caisses, components, and distribution networks, as well as those of the competition
  • Knowledge of financing and business credit management standards and practices
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients (level 5)
