JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to inspire young students in their artistic journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various art forms and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. As an Art Teacher, you will guide students in developing their artistic skills, encouraging self-expression, and exploring different techniques and mediums.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching art at the elementary or secondary level is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of various artistic techniques and mediums.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching are essential qualities for this role.
- Familiarity with integrating technology into the art curriculum is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the school community.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans that cater to various skill levels and age groups.
- Teach techniques in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art forms.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and respect for individual expression.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
- Organize art exhibitions or showcases to display students’ work to the community.
- Maintain an organized and safe classroom environment with all necessary supplies readily available.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into the broader curriculum.
- Stay updated on current trends in art education and incorporate innovative practices into lessons.
