Description:

We are recruiting for a Finishing Foreman for a well known Main Contractor working on a healthcare project in Tipperary.
The ideal candidate will come from a Carpentry background with at least 5-7yrs experience working within a similar role with a recognised Main Contractor. Ideally you will also have healthcare construction experience.

Working alongside the Project Manager you will be charged with overseeing sub contractors from first fix stage through to handover.

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and monitor sub-contractor’s performance.
  • Managing snag lists & punch lists with agreed deadlines and to the highest standard.
  • Monitor their own progress and the progress of others in accordance with the agreed project schedule, progress reporting against Safety, Quality, Schedule.
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and efficient site always.
  • Ensure clear understanding and compliance with drawings, specifications building regulations and good building practice whilst working closely with the Project Manager to highlight any issues.
  • Communication with site team on extra works and variations where necessary
  • Maintaining a good relationship with the client and addressing any concerns with regards quality.
