We are looking for a sustainable products specialist to support our offerings of sustainable products towards our largest corporate and institutional clients with a special focus on the Finnish market.
The Sustainable Products Team is a specialist team within Investment Banking with responsibility for Danske Bank’s sustainable products offerings towards our most advanced clients. Our core task is to support clients in tailoring bespoke sustainable finance solutions aimed at their specific activities and financing needs, including advising on sustainable loans and sustainable bond frameworks. We also evaluate solutions developed outside Danske Bank.
Colleagues in the Sustainable Products Team are based in either Stockholm or Copenhagen, which will also be the location for this position.
Our team is among the strongest in the Nordic market and we consistently lead the sustainability leagues table within both bonds and loans. We are part of large transactions with blue chip companies as well as mid- and private equity companies.

The job offers a unique development opportunity within sustainable finance.
Your primary responsibility will relate to sustainable loans and guarantees, and over time you will be introduced to other products such as sustainable bonds.
You will be responsible for the full process, from pitching to closing. Tasks will include preparing client engagements (analysing ESG data, peer comparisons, research and outline sustainable financing options), pitch this to clients to win sustainable financing opportunities, act as the sustainability coordinator/advisor if such roles are won and perform evaluations of sustainable finance solutions structured outside Danske Bank. The work should also be properly documented.
We expect you to be our primary point of contact for the Finnish market engaging with both clients and our internal stakeholders, mainly being origination and relationship teams.
