Applicants must be registered in or a recent graduate of a post-secondary program in Public or Business Administration or a related field of study. Applicants must have a valid Class ‘G’ Driver’s Licence.
Responsibilities:
The Township of Oro-Medonte is currently accepting applications for a Fire Administrative Support Student. Reporting to the Director, Fire and Emergency Services/Fire Chief, the Administrative Support Student will aid with all administrative tasks in the day-to-day operations of the Fire and Emergency Services Department. Additionally, this role will assist the department with the filing and general maintenance of records for the various fire stations while maintaining confidentiality of all actions. This position will also assist with community event planning as well as drafting correspondence and preparing reports. Additionally, the role requires performing other administrative activities as needed.
