Description:
Role: Fire Engineer
Locations: London | Cheltenham

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Fire Engineering or a related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Fire Engineer within a consultancy.
- Familiarity with regulatory controls and experience in developing fire-engineered design solutions in the built environment.
- Working knowledge of ADB, BS 9999, and BS 9991.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare fire strategy reports and other relevant documentation as needed.
- Review architectural drawings to assess fire strategy risks.
- Means of Escape Analysis.
- Execute Computational Evacuation Modelling Analysis.
- Solve fire engineering calculations, including those related to radiant heat, smoke control, and occupant evacuations.
- Be a great communicator, liaise with clients and the design team regarding fire strategies.
- Understand and apply UK fire safety legislation and standards.
