Job Description:
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire and security systems. You’ll work on a range of projects, from residential to commercial sites, ensuring systems are compliant, effective, and meet client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer who values quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests to ensure system functionality.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and manage any on-site documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer, with knowledge of various fire alarm and security systems.
- Relevant qualifications, such as FIA, BS5839, or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation (or similar).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A full UK driving license.
