Description:

Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for a Fire Services Technician to join our team in Port Coquitlam, BC.
Your role will include diverse maintenance and repair of fire suppression systems and other fire safety equipment. While this position is based out of our Port Coquitlam branch, there will be remote service requirements at customer locations in and around the area.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Basic electrical knowledge and a strong mechanical aptitude with experience working with power and hand tools in a variety of situations
  • Relevant fire equipment servicing experience with corresponding ASTT certification will be given preference first
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is required
  • Prior customer service experience and great communication skills
  • Proficient with technology, and are used to working with computers and mobile devices
  • As part of our commitment to a safe workplace, you must successfully pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol testing, as well as criminal background check

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, repair, and provide maintenance of fire suppression systems as well as other fire safety equipment at customer sites
  • Diagnose and address service issues promptly, offering proactive solutions
  • Achieve delivery and productivity targets while upholding quality standards
  • Perform site-specific training for owners and end-users
  • Active team participation while fostering continuous improvements; be Face of Levitt-Safety for our customers and their onsite safety needs
