We are needing a Fire Systems Tester to join our team in South Dunedin! Your main objective is testing and inspections of fire systems, emergency lighting and other specified systems to the current New Zealand Standard and Building Act requirements while maintaining and developing existing customer relationships.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Undertake various tests and inspections to the relevant standard and company work instructions
- Accurately record results of each test or inspection performed
- Communicate and liaise with the supervisor to ensure efficient and timely undertaking of all work
- Maintain a high level of service and customer satisfaction
- Ensure company property in their charge such as materials, plant, tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient working condition
- Maintain a tidy area in the vicinity of the fire sprinkler valve room and fire system control panels
- Ensure timekeeping and timesheets are as required and accurate
- Maintain safe practices including tools as required by the EH&S regulations
- To notify the supervisor or manager of any safety hazards in the working environment
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
- Participate in training provided by the Company and outside sources to keep abreast and ahead of developments in the industry and to improve your own skills
- Promote products and services both used and provided by the company
- Positive attitudes, loyalty, and enthusiasm towards the Company objectives
