JOB DESCRIPTION

The Firmware Developer is involved in development of both HV and LV electronic modules for our products and is responsible for FW development used in modules and test tools, technical support of both XPS Spectrometry operations engineering and production. The FW engineer supervises product quality, optimizes production, implements engineering changes, communicates with suppliers, and sometimes with customers. The expert in this position solves sophisticated tasks while participating with rest of the team and other departments - mainly development, production and service.
The position is suitable for an engineer with at least 2 years of experience in FW development for ARM. Everyone who is passionate, proactive, and studious. So don’t worry and come and show us what you can do. We will guide you through the rest.

• Develop firmware for ARM based electronic boards. Experience in VHDL is an advantage
• Work alongside other engineering team members and closely collaborate with several departments (R&D, production, sourcing, service etc.) in order to efficiently bring fresh, up-to-date and innovative ideas to our customers
• Resolve any problems encountered during manufacturing. Investigate and analyze customer service problems and propose solutions
• Search for solutions to improve product quality and optimize processes
• Suggest design improvements based on recent technical knowledge, and submit an engineering change requests
• Maintain the test equipment at suppliers and in our production, and if needed, design and implement changes
