JOB DESCRIPTION:

Facilitate RED CROSS FIRST AID courses throughout Calgary. All equipment is supplied-

• Provide high quality education to students in the classroom environment
• Facilitate video presentations, lectures, skill demonstration and testing according to Red Cross guidelines.
• Evaluate student progress and achievement
• Provide ongoing support, guidance and direction to learners
• Complete required paperwork thoroughly and as required.
• Perform related duties as assigned
• Adhere to Child Safe Canada’s health and Safety program
• Qualifications:
• RED CROSS first aid Instructor certification (current and updated). Must be an INSTRUCTOR
• Previous teaching experience an asset
• Comfortable with public speaking, and able to convey course subjects to diverse students and learning styles
• Possess a positive, respectful attitude.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass a Police Check including vulnerable sector check
• Perform related duties as required.
• Adhere to Child Safe Canada’s Health and Safety program

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
