Hours of work: This is a full-time, permanent role and will be based at our Sheffield City Centre office from 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday.
Our Hardware Engineers work with setting up new colleagues and clients’ hardware as well as fixing/rebuilding when issues occur. The team play a key part in supporting our clients and ASK4 colleagues by showcasing excellent customer service throughout.
ASK4 is growing, expanding our services, and reaching new territories, and we are looking for motivated and dedicated individuals to help us reach our ambitious goals. Thanks to new investment we are recruiting to help support the company’s growth as well as maintain the high level of service that ASK4 is renowned for.
Responsibilities:
- Processing any client hardware requests, this includes liaising with different ASK4 departments as well as the clients to make sure all hardware is correct, set up and ready for delivery or pickup.
- Manage the updates or repairs for any existing hardware.
- Keeping track of hardware in the office, making sure it’s labelled neatly stored and all files are up to date.
- Be a point of contact for IT queries and tickets.
- Providing excellent customer service on phone calls as well as through updates via our ticketing system.
- Work within a clear ticketing system, ensuring all notes, time and actions are correctly recorded and kept up to date.
- Typical examples of work would include:
-Software installations & updates
-Password resets & creating new users across multiple client IT platforms and systems
-Setting up new ASK4 colleague’s laptops and systems
-Office 365 maintenance and administration
-Hardware replacements/upgrades
