Pay Rate: £28,000 - £ 29,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Rotational - 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 (weekend overtime available)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.
Responsibilities:
- To lead the work activities of the site providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development and team management for the workforce
- Accountable for the forward planning of staffing levels for warehouse to drive productivity standards and operational performance
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Organise and lead the focus on improved productivity levels
- Execute against customer requirements and operational KPI’s
- Support the business to ensure compliance with statutory obligations, company policy and procedure in respect of Health and Safety and working time regulations
