Boeing Global Services (BGS) has an exciting opportunity for a First Line Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting Manager to join and support the Commercial Services team in Seattle, WA and Dallas, TX. The position supports our worldwide commercial fleet providing parts and services. The Supply Chain Leader will be an integral member of our cross-functional integrated product team (IPT).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 5+ years of experience working in Supply Chain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing Planning
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, and Supply Planning
  • 5+ years of experience developing or deploying analytical models and/or forecasts
  • Experience building cross-functional relationships; experience connecting with and advising senior leaders within the business and thoughtfully challenging leadership when necessary
  • Experience working in Service Parts Management (SPM)
  • Willingness & ability to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)
  • Experience working with SAP Supply Chain systems

Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight and management of supply and demand
  • Leads Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SI&OP) across supply chain
  • Prepares and executes inventory strategies
  • Consults with internal/external customers to resolve supply and demand issues
  • Leads supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities
  • Manages employees performing supply chain planning and forecasting operations
  • Engages stakeholders to ensure alignment across program
  • Develops and executes project and process plans
  • Optimizes execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees
  • Mitigates risks and issues
    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seattle, WA and/or Dallas, TX.
