In Leveraged Finance we structure acquisition financing to support Europe’s leading private equity funds with their M&A activity across the Nordic region. Leveraged Finance is a part of Investment Banking in Danske Bank and has a Capital Markets oriented business model with loan underwrite-to-distribute and bridge financing to capital markets take-outs. Danske Bank is the leading Underwriter and MLA of Nordic syndicated Loans (according to Bloomberg), ahead of several international investment banks and regional commercial banks.
We are situated together with other origination teams, supporting the largest Nordic corporate clients through our Corporate Loans team and have growing activity within ESG-related Finance, Infrastructure financings and Renewables. Danske Bank is the leading Nordic arranger of green and sustainable lending products which is a key focus area for the Bank as a whole.

BROADEN YOUR COMMERCIAL AND FINANCIAL SKILLSET

As our new First Year Analyst, you will be working with:

  • participating in origination, execution and portfolio management activities related to the banks Private Equity related transactions across industries in the Nordic region
  • making strategic, financial and cash-flow analyses; including business and strategic evaluation of due diligence materials
  • assessment of debt capacity and capital structure alternatives, preparation of internal and external presentations.

To achieve your goals in Leveraged Finance, you should have solid analytical skills, a good commercial understanding and are motivated to working in a progressive and innovative environment. It is also important that you are a collaborator and have professional communication skills, as you will be in touch with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis. Fluency in one of the Nordic languages and English is a requirement as we operate in an international environment. Additionally competences in excel and power point are critical as well as a high level of IT proficiency.
