Description:
WHAT DOES THE JOB INVOLVE?
Responsible for developing and implementing fiscal metering and analysis’s systems, technical engineering and operational solutions.
Optimizing and monitoring the quality, safety, and efficiency, of the fiscal metering and analysis’s systems used in energy production, processing, refining, and transport systems, including CO2- and low carbon (including but not limited to local and remote operation, operational technology cyber security (OT systems).
Governance shall be based on technical and professional standards and relevant industry best practices, supported by state-of-the-art systems, processes, methods and tools to support decision making processes.
You are utilizing your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk.
You address key business challenges that align with Equinor’s short and long-term strategy via providing specialist support to your team and others.
You independently communicate within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties.
You regularly navigate conflicting agendas and may lead negotiations with senior stakeholders.
You resolve challenges, deliver improvements and contribute to shaping best practices.
You promote change initiatives, demonstrate flexibility to adopt new highly complex activities/ways of working and advice others.

- Bachelor or Masters degree within relevant field such as, natural gas process technology, CO2 removal or H2/NH3 production.
- Experience within process simulations, gas conversion, synthesis gas, gas treating (removal of water, CO2, H2S and other trace components), glycol regeneration, thermodynamics or column design.
- Experience with laboratory and field work in above subjects.
- Experience with tools like python, matlab and/or process simulators (promax, unisim).
- Team player with the ability to work independently in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Ability to lead and take responsibility for project deliveries.
- Good communication skills and strong stakeholder management.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian, both written and oral.

Responsibilities:
Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
- Lead development, operation, maintenance, and improvement of safe solutions, systems, technologies, and work processes within fiscal metering and analysis’s systems.
- Support and guide development, integrity and implementation of technology and technical solutions in projects fulfilling scientific, engineering and safety standards.
- Assist in formulation and executing of activity and operational plans.
- Apply advanced research/scientific and design methodologies to enable the development and improvement of fiscal metering and analysis’s technology related systems, and processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand specific business needs and transform them into actionable plans.
- Lead collaboration within cross-functional teams to identify the root causes of problems, and implement corrective actions, technologies or methods.
- Collaborate across multiple operations, project development and research/technology development teams to identify and evaluate new methods for operational excellence, reduction of cost and environmental footprint.
- Assist in quality assurance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within fiscal metering and analysis’s technology.
- Stay updated with relevant industry trends.
- Foster a culture of learning and development within teams and provide mentorship to other professionals.
