Job Title: Fitness Educator
Location: Onsite and Online
Job Overview:
Join the National Personal Training Academy (NPTA) as a Fitness Educator and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of fitness professionals! This role is an exciting opportunity for experienced educators with a strong background in teaching NASM courses (CPT, CES, CNC, and more) who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
In this dynamic position, you’ll lead the Fitness Scholarship Program for aspiring trainers and clients, providing access to education and mentorship. You’ll also manage hands-on learning programs, oversee trainer onboarding, develop educational resources, and foster impactful partnerships with gyms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fitness Scholarship Program Leadership
- Oversee and manage the Fitness Scholarship Program for aspiring trainers and clients.
- Support students in navigating certification programs and mentorship opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to expand scholarship accessibility and awareness.
- Apprenticeship Program
- Lead a 40-hour hands-on learning program for aspiring trainers.
- Manage apprenticeship schedules, student progress, and program delivery.
- Provide mentorship and guidance throughout the learning journey.
- Fit Basic Training Program
- Supervise and guide newly certified trainers through onboarding processes.
- Manage client accounts and schedules for a smooth transition into active practice.
- Offer ongoing coaching and support to trainers during their first client interactions.
- Gym Partnership Program
- Collaborate with gym owners to conduct risk assessments and provide certification recommendations.
- Partner with gym teams to integrate custom education programs tailored to their needs.
- Build long-term relationships with partner gyms to strengthen collaboration.
- Sales and Certification Inquiries
- Respond to inquiries about NASM certifications and guide potential students through the enrollment process.
- Conduct sales calls to promote NPTA’s certification programs and educational offerings.
- Track and report sales performance metrics to leadership.
- Course and Resource Development
- Work closely with the Director of Education to develop and enhance course materials.
- Create and update onboarding manuals, training resources, and educational content.
- Ensure all materials align with NPTA’s educational standards and objectives.
Qualifications:
- NASM certifications preferred: CPT (Certified Personal Trainer), CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist), CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach).
- Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, or fitness education.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- A passion for teaching, empowering others, and driving educational excellence.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate: $40–$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
