Description:

An exciting opportunity now exists for an ambitious Fitness Instructor at Hodson Bay Hotel.
This is a full time 39 hours per week role, however, it can also be on a part time basis, for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in teaching gym classes
  • Previous experience in teaching Aqua Aerobics
  • Previous experience in instructing swimming lessons
  • Previous experience of working in a customer care environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Qualified Lifeguard (desirable)
  • Qualified First Aider (preferred)
  • Previous experience of Pool Plant (desired)

Responsibilities:

  • To offer the highest level of guest service in the Leisure Club, ensuring the 4* agreed standards are achieved at all times
  • Deliver Gym Inductions - demonstrate the correct way to use exercise equipment
  • Deliver group exercise classes and workshops
  • Instruct swim lessons
  • Develop personal exercise and diet plans
  • Promote and give wellness advices
  • To ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the Leisure Club
  • Carry out Reception duties and deliver a high level of customer care
  • To be responsible for the health & safety of all guests and visitors to the Leisure Club
  • To operate machinery and care for it as necessary, ensuring adherence to Health & safety procedures
  • To carry out the Hotels customer relations policy and to communicate Hotel services to guests
