JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Fitout Supervisor to oversee and manage on-site activities for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the project’s successful execution, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while meeting deadlines and budgets.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a site supervisor in fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials, and techniques.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
• Basic computer skills for reporting purposes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in supervising fit-out projects in retail, commercial, and hospitality.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

• Site Supervision:
• Oversee and manage all on-site activities, including labor, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure the work is executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Quality Control:
• Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
• Team Coordination:
• Assign tasks to site personnel and provide clear instructions.
• Supervise and motivate the workforce to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Material & Resource Management:
• Coordinate the delivery and proper storage of materials and tools on-site.
• Ensure proper usage and prevent wastage of materials.
• Safety Compliance:
• Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Progress Monitoring:
• Track daily work progress and prepare regular site reports for the Fitout Engineer/Project Manager.
• Proactively address and resolve on-site issues to avoid project delays.
• Stakeholder Coordination:
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and engineers as required to address site concerns.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
