We are currently seeking a highly experienced Fitter/Boilermaker willing to learn on the job but is expected to eventually take responsibility for work packs and scopes of work while reporting back to the site supervisor at all times and paired with a trade assistant on tasks where they would need to be the senior person in the group located in the Brisbane area to join our team on an exciting project commencing September 2024.

WE ARE KEEN TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Australian recognized dual trade qualification Boilermaker/Fitter
  • Experienced in structural, pipe and plate
  • Previous tank building experience advantages
  • Construction induction card
  • Safe Work at Heights (valid within the last 3 years) - desirable
  • Confined space ticket (valid within the last 3 years) - desirable
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Proof of right to work in Australia
  • The ability to work within a team
  • Be physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks - the role may involve manual lifting, bending, squatting and kneeling
  • High safety and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test - mandatory

  • Lubs Tank Cleaning and inspection
  • Temporary Transfer line building
  • Permit generation and management
  • Safe work and adherence to Control of works requirements
  • Taking a leading role in managing works
