Marid Industries is seeking a Fabricator/welder who has experience in miscellaneous fabrication and welding. Candidate will manage completing various projects that require a level of expertise and due diligence. These projects may include mild steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel. The ideal candidate for this position relies on their knowledge of fabrication to apply their skills to the completion of projects.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Team player with strong organization & communication
- Sharp attention to detail
- Must be results-driven, conscientious, dependable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independent and in teams.
- FCAW, CWB tickets and ability to pass test.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics
- Experience in welding, particularly MIG and TIG welding
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
- Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Familiarity with basic math for measurements and calculations

Responsibilities:
- Layout and weld assemblies.
- Work with tools, such as power tools, welding machines, grinders and drill presses, ironworker, tube bender and chop saws.
- Work with slings, lifting components and overhead cranes.
- Don all safety equipment to work in an environment that is loud or has dust or smoke.
