ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE

Candidates will have experience in a Fixed Assets role, ideally in an ASX or commercial organisation. Candidates will also display:

  • Experience with SAP Fixed assets register
  • Experience with reporting tools such as TM1, Power BI
  • Stakeholder engagement experience
  • CA or CPA qualified will be preferrable

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

GrainCorp is currently looking to hire a Fixed Assets Accountant for an 18 month, fixed term contract, to maintain and report on all capital related items at GrainCorp. Working closely with the Capital Analyst and FP&A Manager to ensure the capital policy is adhered to and understood by financial and non-financial stakeholders. The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Asset register maintenance including preparation of monthly WIP report, timely capitalization of assets, correct assignment of book and tax lives and depreciation posting in line with month end timetable
  • Half-year and year end reporting
  • Management Reporting including providing depreciation and amortisation schedules for actuals monthly reporting in addition to preparation for forecast and budget.
  • Capital management and assisting with internal capital approval processes
  • Reviewing all capital proposals for completeness and adherence to accounting policies.
  • Regular engagement with project managers to assist with tracking project spend and budget allocations.
