REQUIREMENTS:

  • Public Accountant or similar.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Advanced Excel (pivots, blookups, grouping, subtotals, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the most recent tax requirements regarding tax depreciation and treatment of fixed assets.
  • Action Oriented
  • Able to work under stress
  • Basic English (50%)
  • Oracle expert is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Will control and monitor construction in process of capital-Fixed Asset projects.
  • Reconcile the balances of the projects at the Sub AR level during the month.
  • Capitalization of projects in coordination with the originators of the projects and Corporate.
  • Review of requisitions for purchase orders for capital projects (Assigning location, account and cost center as applicable).
  • Approval of purchase orders for capital projects.
  • Work with annual capital projects budget.
  • Capital plan forecast (Reported to corporate).
  • Address both internal and external corporate requirements in relation to capital projects and fixed assets.
  • Keep track of the physical inventory of fixed assets. Coordinate a physical inventory at least every 2 years.
  • Month Closing (Subledger vs. General Ledger Reconciliation). Registration of accounting policies.
  • Address Audit requirements related to Fixed Assets
  • Support with extraordinary tasks when required.
