About the Role
As a Fixed Income Australia Desk Risk Manager in our Team, you’ll play a key role in helping to support the Fixed Income trading businesses in Australia to manage operational risk and compliance and ensure a well-managed trading Markets business

What will your day look like?

The Fixed Income Australia Des Risk Manager is critical to making this happen and will:

• Work with the business and other enablement functions to minimise operational losses and compliance breaches
• Provide strategic product management, operational risk, and compliance advice to the covered businesses
• Develop, and through working with relevant stakeholders, implement treatment plans and risk assessments for risks within the business and provide recommendation on accepting such risks to ensure effective control environment and risk appetite adhered to
• Support and proactively assist in the effective implementation of compliance through risk frameworks and policies including the implementation of the IAM Amplified Program for Markets, specifically for FI products
• Work with the wider DRM team and central regulatory and change team to draft and implement policy changes, and support the rollout and required training associated with the new policy and related procedures

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Strong Non-Financial Risk background with Proven experience in Financial Markets risk or COO Roles
• Strong experience and knowledge of the Financial Markets and the environment that ANZ Markets operates in with demonstrated understanding of trading products, particularly within FI
• Strong experience and knowledge of governance, compliance, regulation & Operational risk management
• Strong customer focus and ability to drive results through excellent stakeholder management
• Demonstrate ANZ Values and Behaviours: Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Excellence
