We are seeking a new broker to join our expanding Fixed Income Sales team in Copenhagen.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Pareto Securities’ high-yield sales desk has a global reach to an international investor network built over more than three decades and consists of ~50 sales professionals across offices in Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Zürich, London, New York, and Singapore. We are seeking a new broker to join our expanding Fixed Income Sales team in Copenhagen.
As a broker, you will be part of the sales team in Copenhagen with a primary focus on high-yield corporate bonds. Our team in Copenhagen consists of five dedicated employees working in Investment Banking and Sales. This is a great opportunity to join a leading and fast-growing independent investment bank. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Driven, hungry and highly motivated person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A fundamental understanding and interest in the capital markets
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Motivation and self-drive are valued higher than experience
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in economics, finance, or other business-related fields with strong academic results is required unless the candidate has extensive experience in the financial industry
    A few years of relevant work experience is preferred but no pre-requisite.

Responsibilities:

  • Sale of high-yield corporate bonds by participating in new placements and secondary market flow
  • Sale of equities through IPOs, private placements, and rights issues, as well as real estate and shipping projects
  • Develop your own customer portfolio within Denmark and continental Europe, for instance, institutional investors, asset managers, family offices, hedge funds, private banks, and high net-worth individuals
  • Establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Be proactive and generate value-added ideas for customers and colleagues
