ROLE PURPOSE:

To be responsible for Network Design & Deployment guidelines for the Vodafone Fixed Network. This role will have a strong emphasis on planning guidelines and deployment of the Fixed Access Network and Technologies. Ability to analyse the design and performance of the fixed access network with a view to being able to lead Network Deployment Programs is a key requirement of the role. Understanding of Fixed and Fibre Access & Backhaul Technologies to guide the evolution of the Vodafone fixed network is key to the role.

ESSENCE OF ROLE – KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The role is to lead and be accountable for the Fixed Network Development Projects that deliver Market Leadership performance for the Vodafone Network.
Provide Fixed/Converged Transport Backhaul technical leadership within the Networks organisation
Work closely with other VF functions to realise our digital Telco goals and make best use of network data to deliver best in class Fixed Network
Ensure Fixed Network Capacity and Performance requirements are aligned.
Develop and implement “Best in Class” Fixed Network Development processes
