Moderna is seeking a digitally proficient and operationally skilled Manufacturing Associate for our mRNA vaccines production unit in the Resilience Site – AUS. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a rapid learning ability in new mRNA technologies, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and adherence to cGMP standards. Key responsibilities include equipment operation, incident investigation, and collaboration with QA for commercial batch documentation. The role demands proactive identification and troubleshooting of equipment and digital issues, routine maintenance capabilities, and flexibility for off-hours and overtime work. With a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, the candidate will effectively collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. This position is integral to Moderna’s mission of producing safe, effective vaccines.
Responsibilities:
Within 3 Months, You Will…
Master safe work habits and comply with Moderna’s safety procedures and guidelines.
Accurately adhere to gowning procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
Engage in root cause analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for incidents.
Execute operations activities in line with manufacturing documentation and GMP practices.
Within 6 Months, You Will…
Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance for documentation completion and batch disposition.
Actively participate in the investigation of deviations and associated CAPA tasks.
Apply performance tools effectively to achieve operational KPIs.
Rapidly respond to and resolve routine equipment and process issues.
Within 12 Months, You Will…
Consistently update training records and ensure documentation accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance of equipment, demonstrating basic mechanical skills.
Showcase flexibility in working off hours and overtime to align with corporate goals.
Participate in multiple projects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
