Responsibilities:
We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This role is integral to supporting our programme teams by enhancing member communications and improving data quality. The successful candidate will work closely with both the marketing and programme departments to optimise our new communication processes and deliver increased member value. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a transformative period in our business while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance member communications: Collaborate with programme teams to develop targeted marketing lists based on specific criteria, enabling effective and tailored communication with members.
- Data quality improvement: Identify gaps in our current data and work with digital, marketing, and programme teams to source and integrate new contacts into our CRM system for outreach purposes.
- Handmade marketing lists: Create specialised marketing lists for niche audiences when required, ensuring that our communications are precise and impactful.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports to programme teams to highlight successful engagement strategies and areas for improvement. Use this data to inform future communications and member engagement tactics.
- Support continuous improvement: Facilitate a feedback loop with programme teams to identify and share best practices, ensuring continuous improvement in our marketing efforts and member interactions.
- CRM management: Ensure the CRM system is consistently updated with accurate and relevant data, supporting effective communication and outreach activities.
- Cross-department collaboration: Work closely with both marketing and programme teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities and address any emerging issues in the new communication process.

Additional Information
This is a full time, fixed-term contract for one year, reporting directly to the Head of Data-Driven Marketing. The role is based out of techUK’s London offices, however techUK operates a flexible working policy. The salary for this role is £23,935 per annum. The position is part of our strategic business transformation, offering the right candidate a unique opportunity to contribute to significant changes within the organisation.
This role profile is a guide to the work that is required but does not form part of any contract of employment and may change from time to time to reflect changing circumstances.
The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK prior to the commencement of employment.
