Responsibilities:
An opening has arisen for a fixed term Medical Laboratory Assistant within Haematology at the Halo building. The position is scheduled to last for 6 months and the main duties will be: To help in the smooth and efficient running of a section within the Department of Haematology to ensure safe, rapid, timely and accurate reporting of results.
Investigation and analysis of samples via the application of techniques and testing in the following sections: Routine Haematology and Coagulation, Flow Cytometry, Haemoglobinopathy and any other falling under Haematology.
The sucsessful aplicant will be required to work within any section of the department is will be required to adhere to flexible working arrangements according to department needs, as directed by management. This may include working outside of core working hours, including weekends.
