JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight and equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong safety record.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely.
  • Experience with freight handling and logistics is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights or weekends if needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
  • Operate forklifts and heavy equipment when necessary for loading/unloading tasks.
